A garden and a vineyard within an 18th-century Geneva estate By E-Bike 

Visit the famous Flower Clock and the Jet d'Eau Fountain, and enjoy a scenic cycle around the lake. Take a leisurely one-hour ride through the beautiful countryside along picturesque cycle paths that offer views of the Salève Mountain, Mont Blanc, and the Jura Mountains. 

Continue your bicycle journey on the flat countryside cycle paths, all while enjoying the stunning scenery. You'll have the opportunity to explore professionally landscaped English and French gardens, complete with a guided tour of the park, orchard, small fruit garden, classified canal, and maze. This tour concludes with a tasting of the estate's wines.

The estate, which dates back to the 18th century, features gardens designed by Erik Dhont and a maze created by Markus Raetz. You can discover the various gardens, stroll through the maze, explore the vineyard, and finish your day with a wine tasting in the cellar.

Over the past 20 years, the gardens at La Gara have been restored and redesigned. Some areas, such as the central path, orchard, and canal, have been reimagined, while others, including the courtyard, the park, and the berry gardens, have been developed as extensions of the past. This collaborative effort involved landscape architect Erik Dhont from Brussels and architect Verena Best from Geneva.

The return journey will follow the same cycle paths.
